Jayamahal Sarbajanin Durga Puja Samiti, known for its innovative and creative themes and execution of pandals, will celebrate this year's Durga Puja with a theme that is close to every Bengalee's and Indian's heart: Rabindranath Tagore - the literary genius, the artist beyond compare, the fervent nationalist and a committed educationist.

As India celebrates the 150th Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, we at Jayamahal Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti wish to do our bit in recreating a little of the Tagore magic. We believe awareness of and exposure to some of Tagore's thoughts and works can inspire today's youth towards artistic excellence and societal growth. We are keen as always, to encourage participation from all communities in this year's Durga Puja celebrations.
